Meet Lauren

Lauren Golen is the founder of At Zero Yoga Institute. She is an experienced yoga teacher of over 2 decades. She has a passion for empowering others to break through self imposed limitations so they can step fully into the truth of who they are – their Dharma.

The vision of At Zero Yoga Institute is a place where people can come experience yoga in all forms, on and off the mat; in person and virtual.

A place that is about fun, peace, aliveness, joy and is infused with the roots of the 8 limbed path of yoga. The 8 limbed path is the foundation of the primary components of yoga practice. Each of the eight limbs plays a vital part in supporting a yoga practitioner towards the ultimate goal of yoga which is enlightenment (samadhi).

At Zero refers to emptying ourselves of anything that is not us. It’s a neutral space, a blank canvas; a place to come from in all we be and do. Gandhi said “I strive to make myself zero.” By “zero”, Gandhi was referring to arriving at a place of such selfless love that each thought, word and deed was motivated wholly by the welfare and well-being of others, and not for his own gratification.

The time has come to step in and support others to practice yoga way beyond the yoga mat. The world is shifting and people need tools to move through the most unknown of times. She is passionate about creating a community where all people get to align to the gifts of who they are and what they came here to do.

Be willing to empty yourself completely of what is not in alignment with the truth of who you are and step into aliveness, freedom, inner peace and purpose.

Come home and be At Zero.
